Desenzano, Italy - March 23th, 2012

Instructions

Author's Kit - ACM Publication

Prepare your paper

Paper format: Submitted papers must be formatted according to the ACM conference proceedings format. Please use the following text for the "conference info" block:

 \conferenceinfo{OMNeT++ 2012\,}{March 23th, Desenzano, Italy.}

Only PDF files will be accepted. We encourage three types of submissions as indicated below:

  • Full papers (max. 8 pages)
  • Short papers (max. 4 pages)
  • Code contributions (max. 2 pages)

Please note that the camera-ready version will conform to the same guidelines as the submission for review.

Papers submitted to OMNeT++ Workshop 2012 must not have been previously published and must not be under review for publication in any other venue. If a submission extends work described in a previous publication of their own, we strongly encourage authors to include a citation to that publication.

Each paper will be peer reviewed, although some early rejected papers may not receive full-length reviews. Normal papers will receive at least three reviews. Papers are accepted based on originality, quality and correctness. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present work at the conference.

For code contributions please submit your 2-page abstract to EasyChair, just as for short and full papers. The source code submission (mandatory) and user manual submission (optional) is not handled by EasyChair. Therefore please provide an URL in your paper, where the code (and manual) can be found by our reviewers.

Upload your paper in EasyChair

Full and short papers must be submitted using the EasyChair submission system. Please follow the link below to submit your paper:

EasyChair Pages of OMNeT++ 2012.

If you don't have an EasyChair account, that link will allow you to create one. Please register your paper by until the paper submission deadline (November 28th, 2011).

Note that papers are accepted only in PDF format.

Registration

  • The instructions for registration given on the conference website also apply for the OMNeT++ workshop (see the Registration Form and Guidelines of SIMUTools 2012 Registration).
  • In short: One of the authors has to register at the full rate for the workshop. After that, you will receive instructions for uploading your final paper. You will also have to sign a copyright form.
